Thank you for your support! Freedom Academy is founded by families, for families. We do not receive any funding from the state or federal governments. We pride ourselves on compensating our teachers well for the important role that they play in the lives of our students, while also striving to make tuition very affordable for average families in our community. Outside donations are vitally important to continued success of a back-to-basics Christian education in Rockingham County.

Although the State of NC does not require private schools to employ certified teachers, we at Freedom Academy feel that hiring certified, qualified, and Godly teachers is a MUST.
National Education Association poll recently found 55% of public school teachers are expecting to exit teaching sooner than planned due to the changes that have occurred in public education.
The most recent NAEP data shows: private school students perform better in almost all subjects and consistently out-perform their peers on college entry tests such as the SAT.
